Christine posted the poem on her Instagram account to celebrate the twins’ birthday, reflecting back on the last 12 months. The poem mentions how the twins are ‘conquering’ their daily challenges and how her children are ‘unique’ in their own way.
As such, The National Autistic Society welcome Christine’s encouraging post that conveys that while there are challenges to overcome, children who are autistic have a positive future and should ‘embrace’ their autism.
Being autistic can be challenging at times but we think it is wonderful to see a high profile parent focus on encouraging her children and be full of optimism.
